dress: vintagebelt: vintageblouse: mod cloth, from the modswap eventshoes: steve madden, from the lulu's swap event at TXSCif there is one thing fashion-related that i struggle with (out of many, i'm sure) it's the ability to layer pieces of clothing without looking like i got dressed in the dark. i can't help but feel bulky and cluttered, and even maybe a bit haphazard. one of my goals, sartorially speaking, is to layer pieces without looking like a fool. i get a lot of inspiration from erin and ashley, and figured that i'd start off simple - just an ascot blouse underneath a simple cotton dress. i wore this dress a lot in hong kong, but never thought to wear anything...
