When I first began my search for teacher appropriate clothing, I came upon a "what not to wear" site that strongly discouraged the addition of khakis and argyle into a teacher's wardrobe. I always think about that when I wear khakis, but I think I've officially convinced myself that the author of that blog was wrong. I get that khakis can be boring, but I don't see what's wrong with having them in your closet to put together those on-the-go looks.
