Jeju: Tropical Hallim park Last post about Korean island Jeju - our trip to Tropical Hallimpark , founded at 1971. According to guidebook, even 50 years ago nothing grew and nobody lived in this place, so Mr. Song purchased this land. removed unused stones, brought soil and planted first seeds of those huge palm trees. In 80s two caves were discovered here, to clean all the sand and stones no power tools were used. Also that time Subtropical Garden, Stone Exhibit Hall were opened.
