I have been having a severe itch to visit NYC lately.
I know, I know. I travel a lot. Call me absolutely crazy {I would!} but sometimes when I sit still for too long I can literally feel myself aging. Some therapists say that I am chasing my own dragon of an elusive pursuit to find something that doesn’t really exist. Maybe they’re right. Maybe I just love to travel. Maybe I am in search of something … what? I don’t know.
I heard lyrics to a song recently that made me smile: “Some birds are meant to be caged.” The sentiment sounded lovely. I spent the rest of the day convincing myself that I was one of these birds....
