Where my family and I consumed no cajun food. Only beignets. Ever since we had some fresh on the terrace of Cafe Dumonde in New Orleans when I was a youngen, we've been on the hunt for some similar. These are the closest we've found. You better believe we snarfed them down in less than 5 minutes. Snarfed. Have you ever heard anyone use that word? It's one of the new additions to my vocabulary since marrying Patrick.
