I love finding items people treasured at one point but that now have totally different connotations: floor-length velvet housecoats, poodle figurines, bedazzled sunglasses... but my favorite part of antique fairs is finding those hidden gems that people thought would never be treasured, like that incredible arithmetic text book. I often wonder if any of my possessions will end up in a similar fair 100 years down the road, and if so, which items will bring...
