Hi, from the Rockies
This week I have been MIA because husband and I took our anniversary trip to the lovely state of Colorado! To recap, every year on our anniversary, in lieu of buying each other gifts, we take a trip. We are hoping to visit all 50 states in 50 years of marriage! Today is our 5 year anniversary and we have checked off TN, KY, IL, WV and now CO! We stayed in Manitou Springs for the 1st leg of the trip and Denver for the 2nd. We hiked up the Manitou Incline , drove up to the summit of Pikes Peak , visited the Garden of the Gods, saw Red Rocks Amphitheater and Park, toured the Denver Mint , took at tour of Celestial Seasonings and ate lots of food! ...
