Walking through young corn fields
Hello there! Wow, you liked Petworth then!?!?! Just to prolong the suspense, this next post is about my afternoon in the countryside surrounding Petworth- it is mighty beautiful! We left my friend pottering around the house and her husband putting more books away and headed out of the gate at the end of her garden to the chirruping of some birds nesting in the rhododendrons and walked straight into verdant foliage down the hill, reaching the river (which apparently, you can paddle in when it is not cold and rainy which it had turned to earlier), crossing by a small bridge. Really sadly, we missed a natural Spring which you can drink at fairly near this...
