So as I was putting this post together I found myself procrastinating because I've never done a travel post before. It's a little nerve-racking to go off the beaten path with posts, especially with travel since it's not really something we do much. (Although I wouldn't hate it if it was something we did a lot of.) Before this trip, I'd never been outside of the continental U.S. before (although I dipped a toe in the Gulf of Mexico once. Pretty sure that doesn't count, but still.)
