From blog My Kingdom for a Hat
of few days and full of trouble
I am turning twenty tomorrow. I feel, frankly, more like thirty. If you’ve got a few hours and a box of wine, I’ll let you in on my life story. But this past year, May to May, has been the best of my life. I am at once settled and restless. Anchored, but not without adventure. And I am closer than ever to truly being the person who’s always lived in my head.
And this is her. This is how I feel most comfortable, playing at theatrics and pinup charades and the bloviatingly cerebral. This is me.
