The Weekender
Mondays haven't ever bothered me. I see them as a fresh start and a way to get back in the saddle of routines, schedules and normalcy. Today, I am going against my norm. To say I am bummed that our last two days are in the past, is an understatement. For the first time in weeks, we had zero scheduled plans or obligations. Instead of staying on a schedule, we made our own adventurous plans. Saturday was just too beautiful to stay inside and tend to normal weekend chores. After Logan's volleyball game, we packed up the Jeep and headed to Lady Bird Lake for a few hours of fun in the sun on tandem kayaks. We rang in the evening with a town gathering for a friend's...
