the statement jacket
One of my favorite ways to dress up a simple t-shirt and jeans look is with a statement jacket, whether it's leather, tweed, or maybe a brightly colored blazer. It helps the look stand out a bit, yet you can get away with being nice and comfortable. There are a few pieces in this outfit that are favorites and you've already seen them a few times. We have this favorite plain white tee by one of the coolest Made in the US brands, Everlane, a pair of brown sandals with a fun metallic heel that are so easy to walk in, and the most comfortable jeans I own with a cool distressed look.
