Not to add insult to injury, but the hills at the Rock'n'Roll Raleigh left me with two very inflamed abductor hallucis muscles (if you don't know, that is the muscle on the inside of your foot). The one on my right foot is a lot worse and has aggravated the tibial nerve. The pain kept me up most of the night on Sunday after the race, so I went to my amazing podiatrist, Dr. Grandanetti, and got this lovely boot. However, pain or no pain, I am running the Nike Women's 1/2 Marathon in DC with Team in training on 4/27. I am just keeping my fingers crossed that my feet feel up for it. Aside from getting a boot, Reid and I went on a date to Big Bowl to celebrate...
