Maxi skirts are a tricky thing to pull off.
To prevent looking like a beached whale, it’s important to follow a few rules for layering a maxi with other flowy pieces. Pair a slim fitting tank under a looser tank to show off figure and create curves. I’d also suggest trying to find a maxi skirt that’s a bit more fitted and if it has slits on the sides that’s even better {show off those stems!}. When I’m not attending an event, dinner party or night out on the town, all I really care about is being comfortable.
