One of the strongest memories from my first visit to Paris was seeing a man walk down the street with a baguette in one hand. This was also one of the first sights I remember seeing as we entered the bustling center of the well known french city. It made me so excited and totally smitten. Add to that the fact that one of my favorite foods and definitely favorite pastry is a baguette. I also eat it at home and it's even as cheap here as it is in Paris, but of course the quality of my supermarket baguette is not so amazing... But still. I love my baguette!
