Mardi Gras Parades
Hugh Laurie, aka Dr. House, as the King of Bacchus Before going to New Orleans for Mardi Gras I don't think I really understood the concept of the Mardi Gras Parades. I mean, I had seen the floats on The Real World: New Orleans (the first one in 2000), but I guess I didn't realize that you got beads just for asking! It's a tradition to say "throw me somethin' mister" as the floats go by! The first night we were there, Reid and I were excited to get any beads. It was so much fun being out at the parades, drinking (I seriously love open containers being allowed!), and cheering for the floats. But as the trip went on, we wanted the nicer...
