The Sound Of Her Wings
When I pick a piece for Style Imitating Art, I usually have a specific piece of clothing in mind, something that I can use to recreate the painting. I don’t plan the whole outfit, because in the week from when I post the inspiration to the deadline, something always comes up – the weather turns colder or warmer, I have a better idea, an early submission gives me a better idea, etc. This time, though, I did have this entire outfit in mind when I picked the inspiration, the cover for Sandman Volume 1, #8, “ The Sound of her Wings “, and I wore it exactly.
