Vintage Knitwear What would winter be with out an ode to vintage knitwear? Kimberly (Kims) knitwear is what first comes to mind but there are also many other vendors who sold commercially knit outfits to appeal to the 40s and 50s ladies. The outfit below is by "Kims". In looking up more information about Kimberly knitwear, I found this link to a bit of the history of the company. The company was formed in 1946 and became a big name through the mid-60s. The label on this dress and jacket is "Kims" and it is 100% wool so given these facts and style, I'd date this outfit to the early 50s.
