Naturally, as soon as I swore to myself that I was done buying winter clothing, I came across this coat on an in-store clearance rack. I remember really wanting a piece like this in early fall when everyone was buying plaid outerwear. Now I'm so glad that I didn't purchase at the beginning of the season because I saved so much by waiting (it was less than $40!) and, thanks to the classic shape, I can wear it for years to come.
