Lost Its Bite
In some ways winter is losing its bite--I feel comfortable trekking through the snow and taking pictures in freezing temperatures with only minor trepidation. I even traded my usual comfort of a coat for this jacket. On the other hand, the idea of scraping ice off of my car windows or shoveling the sidewalk in front of my house, or literally being snowed in my a snow emergency in my city yet again is making my absolutely stir crazy. I'm not even longing for warmer weather at the moment, but rather a break from bleak conditions which leave us stuck indoors or worried about unsafe conditions...
