Garment Identity Crisis

It’s only about once a year that I bust out this little “capelet” thing. “Capelet” is the best suggestion I’ve had for what exactly to call it. It’s more than a scarf but less than a sweater. It’s sort of like a cape , but there are no arm holes. I wouldn’t quite call it outerwear, but I wouldn’t call it underwear either. WHAT ARE YOU, LITTLE KNIT THING?! Maybe its mystique is part of why I’ve kept it around for 5+ years.
