Lunar New Year. Korean traditions South Korea still remains very traditional country. Probably less, than they all want to be (Western culture affects it a lot) but surely much more than other Western countries. Saying 'traditional' I mean keeping and maintaining old customs and behavior. USA bring 'freethinking' ideas to Asia and they are absorbed in young minds, but older generation tries to save at least the holiday ceremonials. Traditions are such an interesting thing - they can be boring and harrying, but let us think: who are we without them? What makes one nation differ from another, what makes it unique, creates its way of thinking, character and even fashion? Tradition of cooking...
