Purple Style
Recently, Audrey of Putting Me Together pondered the trendiness of purple. I actually agreed, saying that purple seems to be under-represented in style blogs. Is it really not popular? Can a basic color like this even be unpopular? Now, similar shades in magenta or fuchsia are not questionable, and are fun to style. However, I have several purple items that I like a lot but seem to get stuck when styling. I always resort to blacks and greys, which is a combination that I truly like. But aren't there more options? Even a Pinterest search yields mostly grey, black, and white in outfits with purple. So here I am today, wearing my new purple Portofino Express...
