Path to Fitness - Week 8 I used to think that I could never run a marathon. Well, I proved myself wrong 10 years ago when I signed up for a running group to train for the LA Marathon in 2003. This program (if memory serves me correctly) was about 6 months long and it was geared towards people that could not even run a mile (that was me). What prompted me to sign up for this is beyond me but it's been one the best things I've ever done. The training really gave me a great foundation of an exercise schedule which I think is the hardest part about incorporating any type of exercise into your routine. I also met some incredible people through the program that are now special friends in my life....
