Weeknight Meal: Mustard Salmon & Crispy Brussels Sprouts
J and I have been trying to eat in more when possible, since it saves so much more money. One thing I think I can make better at home is fish. When we make fish at home we spend half as much as we would in a restaurant.
I started by making this mustard sauce with Basil Mustard from Trader Joe's, a little bit of almond milk (enough to make it a little runny), and some dill seasoning.
I pre-heated the oven to 450F, drizzled the sauce over the fresh salmon, squeezed lemon juice on top, and placed in the oven for about 13 minutes. (The salmon cost about $11 from Trader Joe's).
