One of the great tricks of childhood is the creation of teddy bears. You grow up snuggling the crap out of these cute cuddle-bugs only to come to the realization that bears are not nice. No sir, not even a bit. Out in the wilderness, bears aren't dressed in overalls with forever smiles on their faces and when they get a rumbly in their tumbly they don't want honey, they want your intestines. There's no reasoning with a bear. You can't offer it happy feelings so it's care-o-meter perks up. I've come to terms with this truth, however my husband insists that bears aren't dangerous.
