Look Book: Stripes, Florals & Lovely Georgian Homes!!
This weekend, Martin & I went for a cute little walk in our neighbourhood. My goodness, I absolutely love these Georgian homes. I find this style of architecture to be so romantic: beautiful pillars, brick facades, ornate window panels. I actually (being nerdy!) looked up Georgian homes on the internet and was surprised to learn there was a tax on windows in the 18th century. The number of windows was a sign of wealth, and poor families had one window per floor or bricked them up to avoid having to pay the tax.
