This outfit isn’t so much about style–it’s pretty nondescript–as it is about strength. I wore this on Saturday to fix the flat tire on my bike, and being able to do so successfully made me feel strong and capable. I’m not a physically powerful person, and I don’t have much desire to be, but accomplishing even a basic fix by myself was satisfying, as was getting back on my bike and riding it around the neighborhood.
