A Deer and a Dog
For some reason I have this weird fascination with deer. Deer are pretty common in my neck of the woods, but no matter what, whenever I see one I get all excited and point it out. We live in the suburbs with a fenced in yard, but we live very close to a wooded area with a creek and lots of deer. About 10 years ago I looked out my back door to check on our dog Korey and he was chasing a deer in the backyard. No joke, there was a deer in my backyard being chased by a labrador retriever! The poor thing was so scared of my dog it ran into the chainlink fence, completely flattened it and hopped off into the neighbors yard. Kayla was probably about 7 or 8 years...
