The last time I had this middle-part hair style was all the way back in 2004, when I was still a teeny bopper in High School. Those weren’t exactly my glory days, and so going back to this look today makes me feel nostalgic, young and really really conscious. In fact these photos were taken about a month or two ago, and I haven’t been able to share them with you, just because I was afraid of getting mocked or called silly names. My sister told me I looked perfectly fine, and even encouraged me to wear this hairstyle out more often for a change, but it was so hard for me to accept that and believe her.
