We made it!
We made it through Christmas without losing power again! There is still a risk of losing power, due to the heavy ice still on the branches, but hopefully the worst is over. Our neighbors only just had their power restored yesterday. Christmas day was lovely. I received some lovely gifts, including a bunch of jigsaw puzzles, a cast iron loaf pan, and a spinning wheel. My dad made me the spinning wheel based on plans I found for a small compact model, although he didn't quite get it done due to the power outage.
