Random Weekend Ramblings from a Near-Empty Office, Two Days Before Christmas
Saturday was Emerson’s ‘Watch Me Dance’ class, the class they have at the end of each session where they put chairs in the studio and we can watch and take pictures instead of sneaking peeks through the blinds of the window in the lobby. My life has been so hectic, I thought the previous week was this class and my mom, her boyfriend, my sister and Karl all arrived to a normal class. Let’s just call that a dress rehearsal! So Saturday was the ACTUAL class, and Emerson was fantastic. Not fantastic in a Dance Moms/my child is my cash cow sort of way, but fantastic in how she listened, she followed, and she has developed and grown as a person and a dancer...
