Without getting all "On Mondays, we wear flannels" on you, the idea of throwing on an oversized flannel any single day of the week, over the most unexpected ensembles (like a traditionally 'dressy' full-length midi skirt), is my go-to of all go-to's. If you want to stay cozy, chic, but casual, try rocking a flannel - a la something from the 90's, naturally - with lots of layers, think: turtlenecks and thin knits! Add in a midi skirt (boxy, for effect), pile on the accessories (this JewelMint necklace is a dream!) and some booties. A Monday look that is casual enough to be comfortable in, while jetting around the city on last minute fittings or meetings...
