Christmas is just around the corner, but the festivities are in full swing. Patrick and I are enjoying some wonderful time with the family. Extended time with family is a treat. Here with the Herzogs, there is a whole lot of staying up to the wee hours of the morning, chatting and playing games. Munching on popcorn and Christmas cookies all the while. Conversations are uplifting and meaningful. With some threads of memories that resurface to be relived every year. I could probably list off about 10 stories/subjects that are a guarantee to come up at some point during our time together....
