Some finished items are just things that you add to your wardrobe. Others have stories. The story of this dress began when one of my blogless sewing friends scored an awesome piece of poly jersey from Spotty. It was on sale for $4 per meter - bargain! So rather than buy the whole roll 'just in case' or possibly to give some to me, she only purchased her 2m and left the rest on the roll. Some friend! Naturally I raced to Spotlight at the first chance I could and tried to buy it too.
