Unlike Anchorage and delightful Healy, Fairbanks and North Pole tend to not get much by way of wind and while our storm might have been small compared to what you get along the coast, it took out most of our power infrastructure. Over 15,000 people lost power and as of this morning there's still people with no power and the temps are heading into -25 below zero...
