______I think the main reason why I've never tried wearing a maxi dress before is because of its name and how similar it sounds to "maxi pad." I mean, surely someone else has made this connection. Surely someone else feels as uncomfortable as I do when they hear the word. Why, the last thing I think I could ever say to someone is, "Oh hey, I really like your maxi dress," because it would make me feel as if I was commenting on their personal feminine hygiene products rather than their attire.
