Today, one of the biggest typhoons the earth has ever seen crossed over the Philippine Islands, uprooted trees, scared hearts, destroyed infrastructure and displaced millions. I heard about the storm last tuesday when a Tornado hit Cebu City and I thought to myself- it can’t be that bad. I mean, we were already attacked by a 7.1 magnitude earthquake, a tornado just passed by and now a super typhoon? We can’t have that much rotten luck, can we? Well, we sure did. Not only was this typhoon a big one, it was way past the scales of Category 5 (Philippine’s PAGASA doesn’t even have a category 5!) on international measuring devices. It hit Leyte...
