Squeamish
After having a three day weekend to rest up and get healthy I actually spent the first half of today feeling pretty good. Then after lunch my day went south. One of my students threw up in class and that just sent things spiraling downward because I have a very squeamish stomach. I felt very sorry for my student and she went home right away of course, but the smell and the visual of it was so bad that my stomach turned upside down for the rest of the day. Even the custodian who was cleaning up her mess said that I didn't look so well as I tried really hard not to gag when I ushered the kids out to the picnic tables outside to continue our work!
