So I didn’t dress up as Mako Mori for Halloween after all… because I don’t have anywhere to dress up for. Which is too bad, because I had the costume all worked out too – blue highlights, combat boots, black pants, t-shirt and jacket with a Pan-Pacific Defense Corps logo, clipboard, and a red shoe wrapped in handkerchief for good measure. Oh well, even if I did dress up as Mako and went to a party here, I doubt anybody would’ve recognized it. In Hanoi you can only find big Halloween events at night clubs and such, which is not my thing at all. I much prefer to hang out with a small group of friends, but it being a week day and I live...
