The Badlands - Drumheller, AB Here's day two of my family road trip down to Southern Alberta from a couple of days ago, to the badlands. Drumheller, Alberta is popular tourist attraction for many who visit Western Canada for many reasons - primarily for being one of the largest repository for dinosaur bones on the planet, as well as the unique geology of the area. The badlands are comprised of a sand-like mountains, lots of hills, valleys, coulees , and hoodoos left over from the ice age! Drumheller looks like nowhere else I've ever been (except Utah.. Utah looks exactly like this). The terrain looks otherworldly, almost what I imagine the moon would look like. My friend Charlie said...
