Reeds Lake Brett and I took a little stroll this week by Reeds Lake. I love having unique places to explore and learn about now that we're living in Grand Rapids. I pretty much exhausted all of the fun spots and history that Grand Haven had to offer, so being in a fresh city is really inspiring! Reeds Lake is a little gem on the east side. Lots of benches, overlooks, gardens and fishing decks.One of my favorite things I learned about Reeds Lake is the late Ramona Park. It was an amusement park from 1897 to 1955. A passenger steamer used to ferry passengers around the lake to different spots. The most popular ride used to be a double wooden roller-coaster called The Jack Rabbit...
