Thrifting Treasures! Happy, Happy Me
Yesterday was a very, very good thrifting day. As I was scanning the Goodwill in Chelsea, hoping for a nice wool sweater, I spotted a "new arrival": a like-new genuine leather jacket with faux fur collar. My old pleather jacket was looking a bit ratty, the faux-sherpa lining getting dull and matted. I snatched up this baby and fell in love right there in the Goodwill. "You're coming home with me," I whispered, and it did -- right on my back! I donated the old jacket and haven't taken this one off yet. And -- the price was $25. Happy, happy thrifter! And thank you to anonymous woman who didn't want her new leather jacket anymore. ☺ Statues in Sheridan...
