Speechless
Last week my mom and I headed up to New York for the Ladies Home Journal conference that I spoke at. And by spoke I mean I 'umm-ed' my way through a 30 minutes speech that ended up being 20 because I talked so fast out of sheer nervousness. Usually I'm good in front of a crowd, but for some reason I was back in 6th grade giving a presentation in front of the class. I mean it was fine, but you know. The good news is my mom was the hit of the party; it's always nice to have a mom to fall back on. Since I didn't have my sweet photographer with me, we didn't get outfit photos while away but I did instagram like a mad woman. It's always awkward...
