To avoid aimless buying when the stores are bursting with newness at the start of a season, I try to make a list of things that I really feel are missing from my wardrobe. You know, to keep me focused. Sometimes it even works.
This fall, 2 of the things on my list were a light chambray shirt and skinny black pants. The chambray was easy, but for some reason black pants were really hard.
