Perception vs Reality
As much as I like to
think of myself as a stylish, put together mom with a full time job, this isn’t
always the case. Especially when it comes to Fridays when I ditch my
usual pencil skirt attire. Folks around the office make a point of my height
(I’m 5’3 ¾) since I’m not wearing heels. The first outfit is what I would
have loved to have worn the whole day. Since I have an hour long commute
to work, I decided to wear my flats instead and as the day progressed I also
removed my jacket. That made my second outfit what I actually wore to the
office the whole day.
Honestly, I want to be perceived as a mom that has
all her s**t together, but in reality...
