A few of my fall wardrobe favorites are maxi skirts and scarfs. This early fall weather is all about transitioning, and while it can still be pretty hot during the day with the sun out, once the sun is gone it gets pretty chilly. Trying to strike a balance between the drastically varying temperatures can be tricky, and I feel like these pieces achieve it. Both the tee and the scarf are new clearance rack finds - the tee was $7 at TJMaxx (MSRP was $60, isn't that crazy for a teeshirt?!) and the scarf is from Kohls, which after the coupons was under $5.
