Shifty: Vogue 1349
I liked my first version of this shift dress so much that I cracked out the pattern again. I think the summer of 2013 will be a shifty summer for me. This dress is so comfortable and I feel like it is totally appropriate for my age, unlike other dress styles which I've agonized over recently (Can't find the blog post, but I do worry about whether I'm getting too old for full skirts). I love the simple lines and the fit of this dress. It is also fully lined, which works really well with this organic voile by Rashida Coleman or any other sheer fabric. This time I lined the dress in violet voile from my stash, which should keep this dress cool for summer....
