The Bling Ring: A Movie Review Don't bother. It's about a bunch of awful teenagers who rob celebrities for fun. They party, sing along loudly to songs while driving poorly, do drugs, steal, repeat. Then they get caught, cry, and go to jail. The End. Boooring. I was originally interested in this movie because I saw an article in a magazine saying Sofia Coppola wrote and directed it. She had some interesting things to say about Paris Hilton, whose home was robbed repeatedly. I suppose my interest was mostly piqued because of the Paris Hilton aspect: she didn't even know she had been robbed for a long time because she owns so many things. She kept keys...
