Well I have to talk more pregnancy stuff for just a second here today. I wanted to thank everyone for their good luck and well wishes yesterday - but unfortunately it turns out I do have gestational diabetes. I had great numbers both for the fasting draw and for the 1st hour draw, but then in the 2nd hour everything went to crap and it shot way up. By the third hour it was still higher than it should be but it was starting to come back down at least. So it wasn't the greatest news ever. Next week I will be meeting with a diabetic counselor and she'll give me guidelines for my diet and blood sugar testing supplies - and of course teach me how to use them. Upon...
